  • Full time newsroom intern at CNN’s Asia headquarters during the three months leading up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

  • Produced a segment for CNN’s feature show Talk Asia, CNN’s half-hour show exploring the personalities behind newsmakers in the fields of arts, politics, sports, and business.

 

Accolades & Speaking Engagements

2018  Co-produced and photographed the BBC.com multi-media article “My brother’s killer is now my friend”, named by BBC as one of “2017’s best big reads”.

2017  While operating as advisor for KCPR 91.3 FM, the station was named #1 college radio station in the US by greatvaluecolleges.net.

2017  Speaker at The ACP (Associated College Press) Midwinter National College Journalism Convention, covering topics ranging from journalism to storytelling for the digital age.
